Countdown to our NYC and Europe trip is underway! Is it December 4th yet??!!
Its an exciting time my friend Linda and I have ahead of us, she's never been to any of the locations on the itinerary and I have spent lots of time in each but no venturing outside the main cities...our trips to the Loire Valley outside of Paris and to Stonehenge/Oxford/Windsor Castle outside of London are going to be the highlights of the trip for me. The weather will be a challenge since its wintertime in all 3 cities but we stocked up on our winter coats, boots, scarves and gloves so we should be ok.
Given the short duration of the trip and packed schedule our goal is to get all of our clothing, etc. into 1 carry-on and a backpack. This magnificent feat, which I have accomplished many times before, puzzles Linda as she can't help but look at the tiny suitcase she just bought and think "I'm suppose to fit all that in there?" And winter travel doesnt really leave a whole lotta space for much after packing an extra coat and some boots but luckily I learned YEARS ago from MTV's House of Style tv show how to roll clothes to maximize space and will be educating my friend on my methods.
This Sunday can't get her quick enough....expensive trip but it will be totally worth it! Stay tuned for pictures and updates in the coming days/weeks :)
